Somerset Vineyard & Winery
Temecula Wine Valley’s Somerset Vineyard & Winery is continuing a 30-year tradition of delivering exceptional hand-crafted wines out of its 13-acre vineyard. Brothers Kurt and John Tiedt are producing sustainably-farmed varieties from Southern France as well as select regions in Spain.
The 13-acre vineyard and estate specializes in wines made from the Rhône varieties such as Viognier, Roussanne, Grenache and Syrah as well as the Spanish Macabeo, Monastrell and Tempranillo.
Award-winning winemaker David Raffaelle established the Rhône and Spanish winemaking programs at the vineyards (formerly Keyways) in 2009, and the vineyard is now at the height of its maturity and producing outstanding quality grapes and wine.
Somerset Vineyard & Winery sits at the mouth of the famed De Portola Trail, and features an elegant Tasting Room and garden-like grounds, surrounded by acres of mature grape vines.
