What do you love about making wine in Temecula Valley? What drew you to the region?

The decomposed granite soil drains well supporting healthy vines.  Climate is more suited then where we live in Fallbrook to grow Italian grapes.  Similarities to regions in Italy where our grapes came from.

What is your winemaking style/philosophy?

Our white wines are done entirely in stainless so the fruit really shines through.  Our reds are aged in a combination of French and American new and neutral barrels so as to not over oak the Italian reds.  Over 90% of our grapes come from vineyards we manage so we can control the quality of the fruit.

What is the one thing you want people to know about Temecula wines?

Many different varietals thrive in Temecula Valley producing multiple 90+ point wines.  In other words, we are making great wines while remaining approachable, affordable, and convenient.

What are you excited about when it comes to Temecula Valley’s future?

The current direction of our winegrower association to promote the valley.  Also the support to enter more competitions.
