Mike got his start in music in church and learned guitar while listening to the songs of the 60's on his AM radio. Playing in high school musicals as well as school band and orchestra gave Mike a great musical foundation. He then went on to study music at the University of Southern California. Mike plays everything from classic rock to jazz but loves country music, especially songs by Alabama, Merle Haggard, George Jones, and Marty Robbins.
