Festivities continue throughout Fall with Halloween parties, wine dinners, and early holiday events

TEMECULA, CA; (October 20, 2011) – Locals and first-time visitors can help celebrate the culmination of Southern California’s harvest season with an affordable passport to wine country.  For just $99, passport-holders gain entrance to more than 30 wineries, exclusive barrel samples, wine flights, food pairings and live music for an invaluable two-day tasting experience. Baily, Cougar, Danza del Sol, Keyways, Leoness, Lorimar, Oak Mountain, and Renzoni wineries will feature live music throughout the weekend.

WHAT:  21st Annual Harvest Celebration Barrel Tasting Weekend is a two-day event offering ticketed guests a chance to visit more than 30 wineries for a self-guided tour of Temecula Valley Wine Country. Delicious food and wine samplings are offered at each stop as well as barrel and/or tank samples of finished and unfinished wines not yet available to the public.

WHEN:  Saturday and Sunday, November 5 & 6, from 10:00am - 4:30pm

WHERE:  Temecula Valley Wine Country is just 60-90 minutes from Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County and Palm Springs. Exit I-15 at Rancho California Road and head east four miles into wine country.

TICKETS:   2 Day Ticket - $99

Sunday Only Ticket, Non-Resident - $79

Sunday Only, Local Residents - $69

Designated Driver (food only) - $59

*Sip & Ride - Traveling between wineries is easy with the purchase of the Sip and Ride Package offered by The Grapeline Wine Country Shuttle, which includes a Harvest Passport ticket, souvenir glass, and pick-up and drop-off at multiple wineries on both Saturday and Sunday.  Package available at www.gogrape.com/reservations

In addition to Harvest Celebration, Temecula wineries are gearing up for a season of exciting festivities. Upcoming events include:

Keyways Vineyard & Winery - Wine Country Christmas beginning Sunday, Nov 26 - Saturday, Dec 17; Horse-drawn wagon rides will be offered on Saturday evenings from 4-6pm where guests will be ushered through more than 100,000 twinkling LED lights, transforming the vineyards into a Winter Wonderland.  Additionally, over 800 Firs and Nobles will be brought to Keyways Winery from Quailhurst Farms in Oregon for purchase.  Call 1-877-KEYWAYS; keywayswine.com
