Bring your well mannered, dolled up doggies for a fun afternoon of music, food, wine, prizes and special guests.  Allen Riedel, author of Best Hikes with Dogs in Southern California will be available to sign copies of his book, meet Max the Golden Retriever, Idyllwild’s 1st Mayor, step into the mobile dog studio for a special photo and enter your dog into the costume contest.  Prizes will be awarded for the cutest, scariest, silliest, most glamorous and most handsome doggies.

A Wine Country Hot Dog bar featuring world famous Pink’s Hot Dogs, along with all of the fixings, will be available for purchase. Humans without dogs are also welcome.

Falkner Winery

Free Jazz on Sundays

Performances will be 3 hours beginning at noon and going until 3:00pm and will be held in their outside lawn area adjacent to the tasting room.   As the name indicates, every Sunday afternoon live jazz performances will be available to winery customers at no charge and with no reservations required. Chairs and tables will be provided for the audience.  Freshly prepared barbequed food and wine by the glass or bottle are available for each performance.

All Winery Passport Event: 21st Annual Harvest Celebration Barrel Tasting Weekend – November 5 & 6, 2011

German entertainers Karl and Fritz (in their lederhosen) will provide the music and we’ll provide the food and fun. We’ll be serving homemade German bratwurst and potato salad, apple and cherry strudel, hot pretzels, Mount Palomar Riesling wine, and Beck’s Oktoberfest beer on tap.
