A large Victorian-Style Farmhouse, the Maurice Car’rie Vineyard & Winery is nestled amidst the rolling hills of the beautiful Temecula Valley. Established among the first vineyards planted in the region in 1968, Maurice Car’rie is known in the Temecula Valley as one of the most inviting and warm Wine Country atmospheres. Guests are invited to taste our award-winning fine wines while shopping for fabulous gift merchandise. Friends and family can also enjoy snacking on our Famous Baked Brie in Sourdough Bread with a bottle of wine on our lovely picnic grounds. Maurice Car’rie Winery is truly the atmosphere for a pleasurable wine experience.
The winery was founded by Budd and Maurice C. Van Roekel in 1986. Today, the lovely winery is run by new owners Buddy and Cheri Linn. The Linn Family plans to build on the winery’s success while continuing production on the varietals that have garnered Maurice Car’rie’s numerous awards—the sweet and fruity varieties of Chenin Blanc and Riesling, along with the traditional greats of Chardonnay and Merlot.
The Linn's are also pleased to serve the exciting Pineapple-flavored Champagne and the popular Pinot Noir. The Linn's, along with veteran Winemaker Gus Vizgirda, are focusing on wines that are ready to drink at a fairly early age. They handcraft 14 varietals that have received hundreds of awards and accolades in a long list of competitions.
The winery hosts special events such as weddings, private parties, and corporate events.
A true icon on Temecula Valley, Maurice Car’rie Winery is a heavenly experience not to be missed! The tasting room is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
