Monte de Oro Winery

Monte de Oro Winery is a consortium of 67 family partners from throughout the United States, England and South Africa who share a passion for developing premier vineyards, growing and harvesting high quality grapes and producing consistent, premium wines in the Temecula Valley Appellation in Southern California.

Monte de Oro's 100% estate grown, award winning wines start in the Winery's 72 vineyard acres.  Great care is taken to cultivate quality grapes from the time they bud in the spring to the time they are harvested in the fall.  Annual grape production is between 280 and 320 tons generating between 18,000 and 21,000 cases of wine. 

The hospitality center is 8,500 square feet with the pride of the Winery being its stunning Main Tasting Room: a 2,500 square foot space with cathedral ceilings, two tasting bars, six alabaster chandeliers and a glass floor looking down on the Barrel Cellar.

Our 10,500 square foot outdoor patio provides breath-taking panoramic views of Temecula Valley which are complemented by our reflective water pool and cascading waterfalls, ensuring that this seating area will be the gathering spot for many special events.
